This professional digital piano-type accordion features a number of high-end functions and a wide selection of realistic sounds. Roland's innovative Dynamic Bellows Behavior technology has been specifically developed for the FR-8X, and simulates the feel of the bellows of a real acoustic accordion. This V-Accordion offers more, though. Four powerful multi effects, an integrated looper and MIDI functionality are just a few of the diverse options. Special characteristics of the Roland FR-8X V-Accordion
While you are playing, the Dynamic Bellows Behavior technology automatically adjusts the air transfer in the bellows, creating a realistic and dynamic response. In comparison to previous models, the user interface of the Roland FR-8R piano-type accordion has been much improved. The accordion is fitted with a well-organised 2.4-inch colour LCD and an intuitive button layout. Three programmable chin registers allow you to operate various functions without using your hands. The FR-8X V-Accordion has 1,400 memory locations, enabling you to store and access your full repertoire as presets. The FR-8X can be used in stand-alone mode, thanks to the built-in 2x 25W amplifiers, neodymium speakers and internal rechargeable battery.
A wide range of sounds and options
The Roland FR-8X offers you a wide range of authentic accordion sounds. It also features more than 180 orchestra and percussion sounds, including strings, horns, electric and acoustic guitars and bass guitars, organs, synths and drums. New sounds can be loaded from the Roland library via USB. Both the 41 keys and the bass buttons of the FR-8X can be divided into more zones and layers than ever before. Four powerful multi effects, with 84 different effect types each, are provided for additional creativity. The built-in looper can be used to create backing tracks, and you can also play along with your favourite MP3 or WAV files by plugging in a USB stick. Audio can be recorded directly to a USB stick or to your computer.
