General
With the DVX D15 active speaker, dB Technologies has taken another step in the right direction. The DVX series consists of speakers and monitors with built-in digital amplifiers. There are separate amplifiers for high and low frequencies in the speakers for a beautifully clear, full sound.
Suited for large venues
With a sound pressure of 132 dB and 750 watts of power, the D15 is perfectly suited for larger spaces. It is furthermore equipped with a 1.4-inch driver with a 2.5-inch voice coil, and has been developed to handle formidable amounts of power. The 15-inch woofer ensures a powerful bass reproduction, so an extra subwoofer isn't necessary, per se. Finally, the multifunctional housing features a slanted panel so it can be used as a monitor, and it also has mounting points and a special monitor setup, controlled by the built-in DSP.
