The ES speaker series is Gemini's way of producing high-quality speakers that can take a hit or two yet still produce an amazing sound. Although Gemini is mostly known for their DJ equipment, they also make excellent speakers that are designed to transfer every detail from your music with great dynamics and volume. Its many connectors on the back make this speaker very versatile.

The pleasant tone of the ES-12P

Contrary to what many other manufacturers do, Gemini opted for a class-AB amplifier. Usually, these type of speakers are equipped with class-D amps, as they deliver more power. Class-AB amplifiers, however, have a prettier sound that envelopes the entire frequency range to create a warm tone with great definition. Combining the amp with a rugged 12-inch woofer (with a 2-inch coil) ensures a luscious bass sound. The titanium tweeter warrants a better dispersion than a conventional one and projects the sound further outwards, which makes it sound just as great at a distance.

Extensive input options

With this speaker, you no longer need a separate mixer as it is already equipped with the essential inputs divided over two channels. The first channel allows you a choice between an XLR and a jack input. The XLR can be used on a line-in level (perfect for pianos or keyboards, for instance) or a microphone level. The second channel has a stereo RCA input as well as a stereo mini jack input. The overall sound can be edited via a 2-band EQ, that allows you to adjust the tone to your liking. Ultimately, the signal is transferred to the amplifier and to the Mix output so you can use an additional active speaker.
