General
The Samson Expedition XP112A is a lightweight speaker with a power of no less than 500 watts, which should be enough for a small hall, rehearsal space, DJ booth, auditorium or class room. If you tilt the XP112A, it can be used as a floor monitor. The input is provided with volume controls and a practical switch. This switch lets you choose between a microphone or line signal.
Expedition XP112A: class D
The Samson Expedition XP112A is provided with a class D amplifier with a power of 500 watts. Thanks to the high efficiency of this amp, the weight can be limited as heavy cooling components are not needed. It powers a 1-inch compression driver and a 12-inch woofer. Together, they produce a balanced sound with astounding low frequencies.
Robust lightweight housing
The robust synthetic housing contributes to the light weight of the Samson Expedition XP112A. It is made of solid polypropylene, making it very well suited for on-the-road use. You can easily mount the speaker on a stand thanks to the two large handles and built-in pole mount.
