General

Faithfully based on the Neve 33609 diode bridge compressor, the Heritage Audio HA609A Elite dual mono/stereo compressor comes loaded with a handful of modern twists to give any modern studio a commanding dynamic processor. Next to an increased threshold range, the compressor and limiter sections of the HA609A Elite each have their own attack setting. Both channels are fitted with no less than three Carnhill/St. Ives transformers plus their own signal path and side-chain for full individual control while, to inject some warmth in your digital recordings, the output features a 1073-style class-A preamp. Finally, thanks to the Link function that fuses the two side-chains of each channel, this Heritage Audio compressor can even be used with stereo sources.
