General
Fender rightfully figured that without an electro-acoustic bass, their California Series would never be complete. That's why the Kingman Bass returns in the form of this V2 version, which is not only priced especially amicably, but features a genuine Jazz Bass neck for optimum playing comfort. To help achieve this high level of playability, the scale length has been carefully shortened to 30 inches, while for tuning stability and enhanced sustain, the Kingman Bass V2 has a bridge saddle and string nut made of GraphTech NuBone. Fully natural amplified tone is taken care of by a trusty Fishman preamp and piezo pickup and, to sweeten the deal some more, Fender throw in a matching FA-610 gig bag.

Klankkleur fantastisch. Speelt soepel. Elektro gedeelte werkt goed en geeft gewenste effecten mooi weer. Helt wel over maar dit was op vele reviews in de vakpers al te lezen. Dit doet niets af aan de speelbaarheid en klank. Top product.

Saw the item online and really fancied an acoustic bass. It was shipped promptly by Bax but a few hold ups with the couriers meant it was a couple of days late on arrival.
Well packed inside two large cardboard boxes with some extra packing and also inside it’s gig bag.
The bass itself is lovely, plays well although the action could be a bit lower. I am also not keen on the jack plug input and the strap holder being incorporated into one piece of metal I’ve always found these to give dodgy connection. Small items that can be fixed.
A really lovely instrument for the money.👍
