Yamaha's TRBX604FM is an electric bass guitar with a modern design, a high level of playing comfort and a great sound. This version has a fantastic flamed maple top with a marvellous Matte Amber finish. The contoured alder and maple body is nicely-weighted and well balanced. The 5-piece maple and mahogany neck is bolted on and was specially designed at the joint to ensure the perfect combination of strength, optimal string vibration to the body and easy access to the upper frets. The fretboard is made of rosewood and has a modern radius of 10 inches that feels comfortable in the hand.
TRBX604FM: YGD H4 Alnico V and active/passive tone controls
The robust, full sound produced by the body is picked up by two passive YGD H4 Alnico V humbuckers that deliver it to your amp via the tone controls that can work actively or passively. When active, you can boost or cut the bass, mid and treble using the control knobs. When passive, you can only use the treble knob in addition to the master tone. The volume and balance controls can be used in both settings. An LED low battery indicator will let you know when the battery needs changed. This Yamaha TBRX is the perfect bass for players looking for a versatile instrument that has everything you could want from a modern model.
