General
Sporting a Jewel Blue finish, chrome-plated hardware and a black headstock, the Ibanez GSR200JB SR is a great-looking bass, and thanks to the PHAT-II equalizer, it sounds the part too. The active electronics help pull roaring lows out of the strings, while the 22 medium frets that line the rosewood fretboard - a high-end perk for a bass in this price range - ensure great playability.
Tone Control
The active EQ sets players up with a master tone control and two volume knobs — one for each pickup. Speaking of which, the Ibanez PSNDP split-coil at the neck combines with a PSNDJ single-coil pickup at the bridge to deliver flexible tone fit for anything from metal to pop. To guarantee optimum vibrational transference, Ibanez has polished off the build with a fixed B-10 bridge.
