General
Built with the belief that everyone deserves a dependable, modern electric bass guitar, the Ibanez SRMS805 draws immediate attention. This Workshop Series bass has a snug okoume body, a stunning poplar burl top and a multi-scale, five-piece bolt-on neck made of jatoba and walnut. The fretboard, meanwhile, is made of uniquely-grained panga-panga and comes finished with 24 medium frets and acrylic position marker inlays.
Active Electronics for Ample Tonal Diversity
To treat players to ultimate tonal diversity, Ibanez have fitted two passive Bartolini BH2 pickups. These punchy humbuckers offer a supple response, shape extremely defined tone and have the broad magnetic field needed for the optimal string-to-string balance. In addition, they're combined with a custom 3-band EQ outfitted with a special 3-way frequency switch so you can cut or boost the mids as needed, and there's a passive tone toggle switch to completely switch off the EQ section. No matter your needs, the SRMS806 has got you covered in all situations.
