The Stagg BJW-OPEN 5 is a 5-string banjo with a striking matte black finish and a black REMO head. Playing the BJW-OPEN 5

From low to high, the four wound strings are tuned in the standard D, G, B, D. The shorter fifth string, whose tuner is placed at the fifth fret, is tuned in G and ensures the characteristic drone sound that sings through in every chord.
