It's no secret that 'noise pollution' is a given when you're a drummer. When all you want to do is pound beats at full power in the comfort of your own home, overcoming this occupational hazard and saving both you and your neighbours some grief can prove tough. Swapping out your skins for a set of mesh-heads can be a good solution, but there's nothing better than a full, considerate kit that's actually designed to make as little noise as possible. As such, the Natal DNA Stealth kit doesn't only come pre-fitted with a set of mesh-heads, but a pack of low-volume cymbals.

The Natal DNA Stealth Drum Kit

First of all, the Natal DNA Stealth eats up very little floor space so it can fit comfortably in the corner of a bedroom or the cellar. Each shell has been made from 6-ply basswood, giving you a sense of 'size' and a more genuine playing feel when compared to maybe an electronic kit. In fact, you could even upgrade this kit later by adding some triggers and a good module; setting yourself up with a hybrid kit.

Silent or Loud?

The compact configuration is made out of an 18 inch bass drum, a 10 inch tom, a 14 inch floor tom and a 13 inch snare, and while the basswood shells are initially built for silent drumming, you could always swap out the mesh-heads for standard heads to play at full volume. Besides a low-volume hi-hat and crash, this thoughtful and flexible drum kit comes including a complete hardware pack.
