The Vision Maple Lacquer series is home to Pearl's most affordable maple drum sets and it's well known for its warm, rich sound. This five-piece Pearl VML905-C368 Vision studio-type drum set in Black Silver Burst is suited for advanced players, professional drummers and the dedicated beginner. It consists of a 20-inch bass drum, 10 and 12-inch toms, a 14-inch floor tom and a matching 14-inch snare.

With this high-quality drum kit you also get a set high-quality hardware from Pearl's own 900 series. In this hardware pack you will not only find hi-hat and cymbal stands, but also a snare drum stand and a bass drum pedal. The stands have double-braced legs with sturdy rubber feet for extra stability. The maple shells give the Vision drum set its warm, round tones and they perfectly balance hi-end attack with mid-range body. Combined with a great low-end punch, that makes the Pearl Vision in Black Silver Burst a very versatile drum set.

Maple

Maple has been used to make drum shells for years and it is still a first-choice where quality is concerned. Not only does it have great tonal properties, it also looks very good. The shells have been fabricated in line with Pearl's Superior Shell Technology, which uses heat, precision cutting, Acoustiglue and hydraulic pressure to create the ultimate acoustic air chamber. At the end of the production line of the VML905-C368 in Black Silver Burst, Pearl chose for a high-end, glossy Artisan II Lacquer, which gives this drum set its striking looks.

Drumheads

The included double-ply drumheads are easier to tune than normal drumheads and produce a powerful sound. These drumheads are only included with Pearl Vision Series drums.
