The Sonor AQ2 Studio shell set consists of a 20 x 16-inch bass drum, 10 x 7 and 12 x 8-inch toms, a 14 x 13-inch floor tom and a 14 x 6-inch snare drum. The shells all have a beautiful Transparent Stain Black finish. Hardware and cymbals are not included, but the set does come with a tom holder. This shell set is suitable for all-round drummers of any age and level.
Sonor AQ2 TSB Studio Transparent Stain Black 5-piece shell set
The shells in this set are made of seven plies of two different types of maple. The inside and outside are each made of two layers of Canadian maple with three layers of Asian maple in between. The layers have been cross laminated for optimal resonance and have bearing edges of 45 degrees. The toms come with the Starmount hanging system that features 'Advanced Protection' rubber to minimise contact with the shells for the best possible sustain. Stable tuning is guaranteed too thanks to the TuneSafe system in the lugs.
