Tama's LGB42BSQ-GNQ S.L.P. G-Bubinga is a limited edition 4-piece shell set that's suitable for heavier music genres. It consists of a 22 x 18-inch bass drum, 10 x 8-inch and 12 x 9-inch toms and a 16 x 16-inch floor tom. The set comes complete with Evans G2 Clear drumheads and black chrome-plated shell hardware. Please note that other hardware, cymbals and a snare drum are not included. Also be aware that as a limited edition, only a certain number of these shell sets have been made, so if you want to get you hands on one, don't wait too long.

Tama LGB42BSQ-GNQ S.L.P. G-Bubinga 4-piece shell set

The shells in this set are made of bubinga which is a type of wood with a bright, deep sound and a good attack. It's relatively heavy too and has a high level of density which means it's usually only used for shells in a higher price class. Each of the shells are made of 12 plies of bubinga in total: 11 plus a Quilted Bubinga finish on the outside. The shells have a different total thickness that gives them the best possible harmonic overtones and sound. The toms and floor toms both have a thickness of 8 mm while the bass drum is 9 mm thick.
