With every right to claim the head of the Orange fleet, the AD200 bass amp head wraps up all of the functions and flexibility than any modern bassist could ever want. The team at Orange have designed the AD200 from the top down following the principle that the best sound always comes from the shortest signal path between instrument and speaker. In other words: you're looking at the power of simplicity. As such, a separate input for active and passive models has been fitted alongside a Clean Switch, so that classic Orange-flavoured high-gain fuzz sound can be dialled right back as needed. This is a Class A/B amplifier head, so it comes kitted out with a set of four KT88 power-amp valves that deliver the deep and dynamic bass frequencies and warm and rich mids you would only expect - or demand - and all of it comes wrapped in a classic cabinet complete with 'pics-only' control panel.
