Radial BT-Pro V2 bluetooth DI
General
The Radial BT-Pro V2 Bluetooth DI box simply, magically, and wirelessly sends an audio signal from your mobile gear (laptop, phone, tablet) directly to a professional mixer or audio interface. The BT-Pro V2 provides two balanced XLR outputs and a stereo headphone output, and every single unit comes with its very own Bluetooth ID so that a small army of them can be used on the same stage without fear of comms interference.

I'd been looking into various Bluetooth DI modules for the small active PA's that we rent out. Some customers like to use their phones and iPads to send music to the mixer and into the PA. I actually bought loads of these cheap Bluetooth DI boxes and found that they were all pretty much useless, even for casual domestic use.
Either they had limited range, dropped connections beyond 3m or just sounded terrible. Most of them had both poor range and poor audio quality. I actually gave up thinking that it must be the Bluetooth technology that was the actual issue. I'm happy to report that it's not the technology, it's the quality of the Bluetooth DI boxes out there; they are all rubbish.
The Radial BT-Pro V2 has none of these issues; it has pro-audio sound quality, decent (I tested to 20m without issue) range with zero drop-out. Plus it runs on phantom power and is built to withstand a life on the road. It's actually a perfect product that solves a specific issue and delivers exactly what Radial claim. I couldn't be more happy with it, it was exactly what I was looking for.
If your requirement is for Bluetooth direct input, pro-audio sound quality and a serious operating range (Radial claim 30m+) without drop-out, I can recommend this product without any hesitation whatsoever. I also believe that it's unique in the marketplace. OK, it's a little expensive but everything else out there is basically junk and does not provide a solution. My advice is to not waste your money and get the Radial BT Pro V2 DI box.

An expensive little unit which has proved its worth during a couple of recent jobs. My use case is for corporate gigs where I'm playing FOH music/doing some PA tuning from my iPad while also wanting to walk the room using a remote mix app. So far the performance has been solid and the Radial brand is living up to its reputation.
One small niggle is with the pair button as this feels a little fragile. This button doesn't protrude beyond the metal casing and should be protected. It isn't obvious from the manual but when using phantom power you should engage it on both channels. Initially I was trying to run the DI in mono and, while it appeared to be working, I had frequent drop-outs and connection issues which were resolved by using the external PSU. The next outing I ran in stereo with phantom on both channels: no issue.
