If you're looking for an attractive cajon with a pure, classic sound, then this Meinl CAJ1WN-M might be just the ticket. The Modern Snare cajons feature a knurled knob on the side, that adjusts the pressure of the snare wires against the frontplate, allowing you to change the sizzle effect from light and sensitive to nice and loud. Furthermore, you can even disengage the entire snare unit, for a more natural sound. The body is made of rubberwood, which originally comes from the Brazilian rubber tree.
