Line 6 presents the full updated and upgraded MKII version of the Spider V 120 1x 12 combo guitar amp. Made for the post-modern, genre-hopping guitarist who demands a full volume amp that's more than able to keep up. So, in terms of effects, speaker cabinet simulations and amplifier emulation, you're offered a library of over 200 options and the single 12-inch speaker is a definite improvement with a more organic sound reproduction and capacity of up to 120 Watts. Since the MKII is loaded with a full-range speaker, any backing tracks played through the AUX input actually sound authentically good and, since this is a Line 6 combo, it also doubles as an audio interface via the fitted USB port.

The Spider V 120 MKII: Stronger and Smarter

On stage, the Line 6 Spider can simply be connected to a stage block via the two fitted XLR outputs. The FBV 3 Foot Controller is also available (but not included) for hands free toggling between the 128 provided presets and, if you find a cabled guitar annoying, then you could also add a Line 6 Relay G10T (also not included) and couple it with the built-in receiver for a completely wireless performance. A metronome, a generous collection of drum loops and a 60-second looper also come equipped for tight backing and experimentation alongside a useful built-in tuner.
