The RedNet series by Focusrite Pro consists of a number of reliable interfaces that communicate with your computer via an Ethernet cable. The RedNet 5 functions as a bridge between your AVID (Digidesign) Pro Tools HD products and the RedNet network by Focusrite Pro. In this way, you can easily and reliably integrate your RedNet setup in your HD system.
Pro Tools and Integration of the RedNet 5
A maximum of six units can be connected to your Pro Tools HDX system, which means you have up to 192 audio channels at 96 kHz or 96 channels at 192 kHz. Pro Tools HD Native and Pro Tools HD (TDM) systems are also supported.
Ethernet Connection
RedNet is a super-reliable series of studio interfaces that works via an Ethernet network based on the trusted Dante audio network system. Focusrite Pro was actually the first company to offer IP network audio interfaces for the studio and other versatile environments! Connect to your computer via a low-latency PCIe card.
