General
Save yourself from laying down miles worth of cable and get post-production, broadcasting, live sound and recording work just right with the Focusrite RedNet A8R Dante audio-over-IP network interface and AD/DA converter. Hook it up with up to eight stereo channels and an etherCON or RJ45 cable will cover most of the distance. For increased flexibility, the A8R is even equipped with a set of AES3 I/Os for other digital audio signals while BNC Word Clock I/O allows the unit to synchronise with other devices.
The RedNet: Powered by Dante
Based on the Dante audio-over-IP protocol, Focusrite's RedNet delivers crystal-clear audio with barely any latency and has the level of scalability and versatility needed to operate in large studios, huge concert halls and arenas. In addition, the use of the Dante protocol makes sure you won't have to fuss with a whole of bunch of cables, since all the data can transferred using a single CAT 5e/6 cable. Finished with assuring redundancy options, you'll never need to fear power or data issues with the A8R either.
