The American DJ Dotz Flood is a wash light and blinder that uses COB (Chip On Board) technology that enables to fit a very powerful LED in a small housing. This Dotz Flood houses 6 tri COB LEDs of 30 watts each. With this fixture you can wall wash large surfaces from a close range, without being bothered by the so-called RGB shadow. This makes this fixture excellently suited for theatres and lighting a building, as well as other decorative lighting purposes. What's more, the LEDs are bright enough to be used as blinders.

Professional features

The Dotz Flood features barn doors that allow you to adjust the overall beam angle. When all flaps are off, the maximum beam angle is 60 degrees, allowing you to cover a large surface. This American DJ fixture can be fully DMX controlled. It has an electronic dimmer, that dims from 0 to 100%, and several built-in programs that it can run independently. Additionally, the DMX allows for manual colour blending without flickering so that the Dotz Flood is also suitable for use in a TV or film studio. The 4-button LCD display on the rear panel allow you to edit its various settings to your liking.

Controlling the Dotz Flood

In addition to DMX, this fixture is also compatible with all of American DJ's UC3 controllers as well as the wireless DF FC controller, for which it has a special antenna that catches the wireless signal of the controller. The wireless range is about 10 metres. Via a DMX connector on the rear panel, this fixture can be used as either a master or a slave device.
