The Denon DBP-2012UDP Blu-ray player is equipped with modern technology and remarkably easy to use. Connect it to a network and it is able to play back the available media without converting it. This Denon Blu-ray player effortlessly plays back a wide range of audio and video formats in beautiful Full High Definition 1080p. The included rack mount kit enables you to mount the DBP-2012UDP in a 19-inch rack, but the Blu-ray player can also be positioned in your living room or bedroom.
Complete functionality in one player
The term Blu-ray player highlights only one of the many functions of the DBP-2012UDP. The player can be connected to a network by means of DLNA technology, for instance, opening up a modern, easy way of home network multimedia streaming. If you have connected a PC or NAS to the network, the DBP-2012UDP is capable of directly playing back its media files without converting them. YouTube content can be played back without using a PC, and the Denon player also allows for playback of Super Audio CDs, MP3 files, various photo and video formats from network devices or external digital storage devices, as well as dual-layer audio and video DVDs. Finally, the DBP-2012UDP offers no less than 1 GB of internal memory for the playback of Blu-ray live content. So many options for one single device!

Top-quality components and internal circuitry ensure excellent, clear sound and images at all times. Denon has put the necessary thought into the practical side of things as well. All the components have been placed in such a way that they stay securely in place when the player takes a hit, and the feet have been designed according to Denon's Direct Mechanical Ground Construction method, guaranteeing great stability. As such, the hardware is quite capable of enduring the vibrations that would cause interference in other, cheaper players.
