Metal band DevilDriver's guitarist Mike Spreitzer was offered a chance to design a signature model with ESP/LTD. The result is the LTD MS-1, which sounds as powerful as it looks. It features a comfortable, bevelled, Randy Rhoads-like model body with a cutaway that is adorned in the same chestnut-brown Sunburst finish as the headstock. At the 12th of the 24 frets there's the DevilDriver logo. Additionally, the MS-1 features a slender, U-profile neck and extra-jumbo frets.

The quality sounds of the MS-1

This incredibly smooth-playing instrument roars away thanks to its two EMG pickups. These famous active humbuckers produce a highly tight and clear sound, even at the highest gain levels, that shows that the LTD MS1 MSB (Maroon Sunburst) is a thoroughbred metal guitar. However, the full force of these pickups can only be done justice with a high-quality body - and so it shall be, with a body of deep, full-sounding mahogany and a sustain-enhancing neck-through-body construction.
