The Fender American Special series comprises some tasteful instruments straight out of Fender's American factory, at a lower price than the American Standard models. This American Special Jazzmaster is a worthy part of that series. This black solid-body guitar has the distinctive Jazzmaster looks, combined with a stream-lined, clean-looking body. Its sleek, 4-layer tortoise pickguard and rosewood fretboard combine excellently with the shiny black alder body.

American Special Jazzmaster: fresh humbuckers

The American Special version of the Jazzmaster is equipped with two newly designed humbuckers. These pickups look a lot like P90s but offer an un-cut dual-coil sound. The clear volume and tone control setup allows for a lightning sound adjustment. You can choose between three different pickup settings: bridge pickup, bridge and neck pickup and neck pickup. The Jazzmaster is an excellent instrument to play and the 21 jumbo frets provide minimal fretboard friction. The Adjusto-Matic bridge with anchored tailpiece provides for balance and stability. This American Special Jazzmaster comes with a gig bag.
