Technical features of the American Special Precision Bass

The body of this P-Bass is made of alder, which is a popular type of wood because of its low weight, balanced tone and excellent resonance, The 34-inch maple neck features a rosewood fretboard with a 9.5-inch radius and 20 medium jumbo frets. Next to the adjustable truss rod, the neck contains two Posiflex graphite support rods that provide extra strength and stability and prevent warping due to changes in temperature and humidity.
