The Fender Jazz Bass has often been copied, but its true soul still only haunts the Fender American Standard series. This Jazz Bass is possessed with two Custom Shop '60s Jazz Bass single-coil pickups that still produce the warm, gnarling sound of old. This model, with its Mystic Red finish, features a maple fretboard to add some more punch to the overall sound. This bass is a powerful playing axe with rugged vintage-style knobs for volume and tone control. Delivery includes a Fender case to safely transport this iconic instrument from gig to gig.

Guitars and bass guitars from the American Standard series

The professional American Standard series comprises the most recent US-built versions of Fender's four most famous guitars: Stratocaster, Telecaster, Precision Bass and Jazz Bass. They all feature a quality ash or alder body, an average-gauge C-profile maple neck and a relatively flat maple or rosewood fretboard, as well as a reliable, sustain-enhancing bridge and (often) Custom Shop pickups for the classic Fender sound.
