Fender Blacktop Strat HH Floyd Rose Black RW
General
The Fender Blacktop Strat HH Floyd Rose is a genuine thrasher disguised as a classic Stratocaster. This tough black electric guitar provides a powerful and thick sound, thanks to its two high-gain humbucker pickups, making it the perfect candidate for rougher music types such as hard rock and metal. But make not mistake, the Blacktop Strat HH is also capable of producing the clearest cleans and that disinctive twang when you need it to. The rock-solid Floyd Rose Special tremolo bridge retains tuning perfectly, even after the most extreme glides. This is the ultimate versatile guitar for modern guitarists.
Features of the Blacktop Strat HH Floyd Rose
The body of the Blacktop Stratocaster HH Floyd Rose is made of alder, a wood type that is known for its light weight and highly balanced tone with tight basses, clear trebles and solid mids. The comfortably contoured maple neck has a modern C-profile and features a rosewood fretboard with a 9.5-inch radius, which provides the feel of a vintage curved radius with the comforts of a modern flat radius. Thanks to the 22 jumbo frets, your bends feel even suppler. The Blacktop Stratocaster HH Floyd Rose's electronics consist of a master volume and tone knob per pickup. The five-way pickup switch allows you to choose between the two alnico humbucker pickups or combine them for a wide range of sounds.
Floyd Rose Special tremolo bridge
The bridge of this Fender Blacktop Stratocaster HH is a genuine Floyd Rose Special double-locking tremolo. A tremolo is a bridge that you can tilt, altering the string tension and thus the pitch, using the tremolo arm as a lever. This is ideal for creating subtle or extreme vibrato effects. A Floyd Rose tremolo is special because it can tilt forward and backward for extreme high to low vibratos. A unique feature of this system is that it optimally retains the tuning of your guitar by locking the strings in the nut and on the bridge. With such a system, fine-tuning can be done via the six fine-tuners on top of the bridge. Eddie Van Halen and Steve Vai were among some of the first to use this tremolo system that is known and loved today by metal guitarists and shredders all around the world.
