1955 Relic Stratocaster: eye for detail

Just like an original Strat from the '50s, this model is made of ash. This type of wood is lightweight and has excellent resonance. It also gives this 1955 Strat its characteristic sparkling sound with a firm bite. The neck is made for comfort with its 9.5 inch fretboard radius and 21 narrow jumbo frets. The Relic finish on the back of the neck also gives this instrument a familiar well-played feel. From bright cleans to fat overdrive, three Custom Shop hand-wound single-coil pickups deliver a versatile pure Strat sound you'd expect from a real Fender.
