Construction

The body of the Fender Malibu CE is shaped like a dreadnought, but it is smaller in size and therefore easier to play. Its striking Stratocaster neck and rosewood fretboard feature a comfortable C profile so that it feels very much like an electric Strat while playing - perfect for electric guitarists who like to play an acoustic guitar every now and again. Moreover, Fender fitted this guitar with an extra strap button at the neck, a feature you don't commonly find on electro-acoustic western guitars, which is odd as it makes it easier to play the instrument while standing up.

Finish and Fishman Electronics

This beautiful Surf Green Malibu CE Mustang is adorned with a white pearloid pickguard and Fender's vintage-style Viking bridge. Its sound hole is decorated with an elegant checkerboard rosette. To improve tone and tuning stability, the string nut and bridge saddle are made of Graphtech NuBone. The Fishman Isys III pickup system comprises an active preamp with volume control and 3-band equalizer to create that perfect sound. Finally, the guitar's practical built-in chromatic tuner helps you to keep it perfectly tuned.
