Guild F-130R Natural GAD western guitar
General
Each and every one of the GAD series guitars is a luxurious instrument with a rich sound and an attractive price tag. The all-solid series features many different models including Dreadnought, Concert, Jumbo and Orchestra designs. The Guild F-130R NAT (Natural) falls into the last category. Orchestra models have been produced by Guild since 1954 and have a tight sound that lends them perfectly to both strumming and fingerpicking. The F-130R sets itself apart with its Indian rosewood sides and back, as opposed to the mahogany sides and back of the regular F-130. As a result, this guitar has an even darker, more complex sound with sparkling overtones. It also comes with a luxury case for easy storage and transport.
F-130R NAT: all solid
Just like the other instruments in the GAD line, the F130R has an all-solid body - quite uncommon in this price class - which gives it powerful, warm resonance and a sound that really carries. Of course, such a quality instrument should also be comfortable to play, and that's ensured by the 1.75-inch string nut and slim neck that make this guitar great for fingerpicking. And we haven't even gotten to the stylish looks yet! The dark brown Indian rosewood of the F-130R really stands out in contrast with the spruce top, which features a mother-of-pearl rosette, black and white purfling, and ivory-coloured bindings.
Guild GAD guitars
Guild has enjoyed an excellent reputation since they began building guitars in 1953, and their current incarnation of the GAD series (Guild Acoustic Design) offers you more value for your money than ever before. Each of the western guitars in the series has an all-solid body and is equipped with a number of tasteful, luxurious visual details. A lot of time was spent on ensuring maximum playing comfort during the design phase, and you can see that in the smooth-playing neck with a satin gloss finish. This guitar is an excellent choice for guitarists looking for a great sound and an impressive price to quality ratio.
