This Ibanez Artwood AW300ECE-VS electro-acoustic western guitar is based on the traditional acoustic guitar and has been complemented with modern functions. This dreadnought-model with Vintage Sunburst finish has a cutaway so that reaching the higher frets becomes easy. The guitar manufacturers at Ibanez are always seeking the ultimate guitar sound. During the construction of this instrument, they managed to reproduce the old bracing technique by means of modern woodwork technology. Besides, they used the best wood types available and as a result, this guitar produces a warm, bright sound.
Ibanez Artwood AW300ECE-VS: Canadian spruce
The Ibanez AW300ECE-VS has a top made of solid sitka spruce, a wood type known for its sound characteristics: full, bright and sparkling. The sides and back of this electr-acoustic guitar are made of solid mahogany and give the sound more warmth and depth. The neck of the AW300ECE-VS is also made of mahogany and is fitted with a rosewood fretboard. The bridge is made of rosewood as well. The body is decorated with an abalone rosette and the string nut and saddle are made of bone. The tuners are chrome-plated and die-cast, and this guitar comes with D'Addario EXP strings.
Fishman
The AW300ECE-VS is equipped with a Fishman Sonicore pickup with an Ibanez SST Shape Shifter preamplifier. This preamp has a volume control, a 3-band equalizer, a phase reverse knob as well as a built-in tuner. With the Shape Shifter you can add subtle details to your sound and the phase reverse allows you to reduce any potential feedback. This means you have total control over your sound! In addition to a jack output, the AW300ECE-VS also has a balanced XLR output so that you can easily connect it to a PA setup.
