The Ibanez BTB1405 Premium is an advanced, high-quality 5-string bass guitar which leaves nothing to be desired. Even before you pick up the guitar, you'll be amazed by its Vintage Natural Flat finish. The maple top features a sober-looking wood pattern in a warm-coloured finish. The guitar has a 7-part BTB5 and a neck-through construction. The fretboard is made of rosewood and equipped with no less then 24 medium frets. Thanks to the deep cutaway, the entire length of the neck is incredibly easy to play.

The BTB1405 is a bass guitar with five strings which means its tonal range has been expanded in the direction of the lower tones. Because this guitar has longer strings (35 inches / 889 mm), there won't be any unsettling string resonance and the highest strings have more sustain. The Mono-rail IV bridge guarantees a great string balance as the strings won't pick up each other's vibrations. Due to the distance between the strings, fingerpicking and slapping techniques are extra comfortable.
