This Ibanez from the S series is the embodiment of a modern, tight design in a lightweight body. The SIR70FD is a guitar from the Iron Label series and has been designed for metal fans. The mahogany body has an Iron Pewter finish and its construction and light wood provide a powerful sound that can perfectly compete with guitars with a much heavier body. A fixed, string-thru-type Gibraltar Standard bridge gives the sound and playing great stability.

This guitar has a three-piece Nitro Wizard neck made of maple and bubinga wood. The rosewood fretboard has 24 jumbo frets. It gets even more impressive when we take a look at the pickups. There are three pickups: the neck features a DiMarzio Air Norton humbucker which has a medium output and a warm, open sound. In the middle there is a DiMarzio True Velvet, a single coil that offers a great sparkling sound. The bridge pickup is a DiMarzio The Tone Zone humbucker with a 'hot' output and a wide dynamic range. Three pickups, a fast neck and a tight finish, that defines the Ibanez SIR70FD.
