Perhaps you have a stack of vinyl records with music that isn't likely to be reissued again by the record labels any time soon. Functions of the ION CD Direct

This is a completely autonomous device. You don't need a computer to operate it, although additional software for Mac OS X and Windows (98SE and later) is supplied. Just place the LP record on the turntable and the rest is pretty much self-explanatory. In addition to CDs, you can also turn your records into MP3s via iTunes. This record player spins albums at 33.33, 45 and 78 RPM for the widest range of vinyl records. The 3.5mm stereo line input allows you to also record other sources.
