The Mapex C500 boom cymbal stand is a sturdy yet surprisingly lightweight cymbal stand with a few practical features that you would not expect a cymbal in this price range to have.

You will find the perfect angle for your cymbal with the practical multi-tooth ratchet. It has a dual tube construction that is fitted with a nylon inner sleeve, that makes sure that the upper tube does not slip when set to the desired height. The clamp-style memory locks with ergonomic wing nuts ensure that you can find the perfect settings every single time!
Furthermore, the C500 comes with Mapex' Multi-Sustain cymbal felts. These feature two sides, one side being a felt cymbal washer, and the other being a plastic cymbal washer. The felt side provides a soft, vibration-absorbing base for your cymbal that decreases cymbal resonance, while the plastic side allows your cymbal to resonate freely for extended sustain.
