Mapex Saturn IV MH Marine Spiral: multi-ply

This Mapex Saturn IV MH Marine Spiral from the Maple Hybrid series has 6-ply shells for the snare and toms, and an 8-ply shell for the bass drum. These shells are hand-made and consist of two types of wood: North American maple and walnut. This combination produces a clear tone with a great deal of resonance. With a 22-inch bass drum, 10 and 12-inch toms, and 14 and 16-inch floor toms, this MH Marine Spiral is a versatile kit with an impressive sound.

The SONIClear tom mounting system does not just provide better resonance, it also keeps the vibrations contained within the shells and heads. The system does not make contact with the tension rods, which ensures that your heads stay in tune much longer and are easier to replace. The low-contact bass drum claw hooks enhance the resonance of your bass drum and are fitted with a rubber lining, which prevents the claws from rattling while you play and protects the finish, to boot. Additionally, the Mapex Saturn IV MH Marine Spiral is equipped with durable, chrome hardware which can effortlessly withstand prolonged and intensive use.
