For drummers who are on the road a lot, there are a number of small drum kits on the market. The problem with a lot of these kits, however, is that you still need to lug around a lot of stands and such. Pearl solved this problem by attaching everything to the bass drum. Cymbals and hardware are not included with this drum kit.

The way that the snare and floor tom are attached is not the only way in which this kit saves space. Even the sizes of the drums have been adjusted to suit the travelling drummer. That means that the kit is very lightweight and easy to build up and tear down. The bass drum has a 16-inch diameter and is 14 inches deep, but despite those small dimensions, it has a remarkably deep sound, especially when you amplify your drums. Another advantage of this bass drum is the fact that is stands on four legs, which means it no longer makes contact with the floor. The smallest tom is 8 x 3.5 inches, the middle tom is 10 x 4 inches and the largest tom has a 12 inch diameter and is 5 inches deep, while the 10 x 5-inch wooden snare drum completes the set.
