The LJX6CA is a medium-sized jumbo model electro-acoustic guitar with a beautiful finish, fantastic playability and above all exquisite sound. It has a solid spruce top and makes use of Yamaha's advanced pickup system. Its elegantly designed cutaway offers your easy access to the highest of the 20 frets. LJX6CA: solid-top medium jumbo

The medium jumbo model is characterized by sweeping round curves and a narrow waist, making it exceptionally comfortable to play. The top of the LJX6 CA is made of solid Engelmann spruce, which is a high-quality American spruce wood with a clear, full and rich tone. The sides and back are fashioned from rosewood, a beautifully grained dark wood type with sultry lows and sparkling highs. Three layers of mahogany/rosewood/mahogany were used for the neck, which is equipped with an ebony fretboard that adds stability to the guitar and helps it stay in tune.

Exclusive 3-way ART pickup system

The LJX6CA is equipped with the advanced Acoustic Resonance Transducer, or ART pickup system. Different than the traditional piezo pickup attached to the bridge saddle, this system makes use of four separate pickups that are mounted to the underside of the top in the bridge position. The two main pickups are positioned precisely under the middle of the bridge and the other two pickups are positioned on the bass and treble sides of the bridge. With such a system, you get a broad, clear and distortion-free amplified sound with natural attack and response.

System57C preamplifier

This steel-string western guitar is equipped with Yamaha's System57C preamplifier. The preamp features a master volume knob and a 3-band EQ, along with separate volume controls for bass and treble for optimal sound balance. Of course a professional guitar should obviously not be without a tuner, and the built-in tuner of the LJX6CA features LED lighting so you can easily tune on the darkest of stages. Everything is powered by two AA batteries that can be boosted to up to 11 volts for broader dynamic range, stability, and less distortion, even if the batteries are almost dead.
