With the PMDJ2-L-G Meinl offers another beautiful djembe with a goatskin drumhead. It's extra lightweight and ideal for outdoor performances. It also features a black rim and a patented tuning mechanism that allows you to adjust the instrument’s pitch at any time, even while you're playing to achieve an optimal and personalised sound. This djembe offers both deep bass tones and powerful slaps.
Shell
This Travel Djembe's shell is made of a lightweight synthetic material, making it about 20% lighter than a fibreglass model. Furthermore, the synthetic nature of the shell makes it ideally suited for outdoor performances. The drumhead is 12 inches in diameter, while the shell is 24 inches deep and features a protective rubber ring on the bottom. The PMDJ2-L-G large Travel Series djembe is an excellent choice for musicians that often perform outdoors.
