Double derby effects have been around for a while, and units like American DJ Tri-LED double derby effect have a special place in our hearts. The Eurolite D-800 QCL double derby surpasses even that renowned effect, however, thanks to its Quad Color LEDs!

Eurolite's Quad Color LED technology consists of four differently coloured LEDs that are mounted on a circuit board with a lens in front of them. The result is an LED module with unequalled colour blending! Eurolite's D800 features two of the LED modules, which both have a red, green and blue LED, but differ in their fourth colour - one contains white, while the other is fitted with an amber LED. You therefore end up with double colour mixing with RGBW and RGBA!

Double derby modes: stand alone or DMX-512

The Eurolite double derby can be used in two ways - in stand-alone mode and in DMX-512. You can adjust the colour, stroboscope and dimmer via three DMX channels. The stand-alone mode is more extensive (and it can also be activated via DMX), as it features a colour-fade function, colour-change function and even a multi-coloured RGBAW function!
