Charvel's Pro Mod So-Cal Style 1 HH is an electric guitar with decades of history behind it. It's designed with optimal playing comfort in mind and produces a wide variety of sounds for everything from biting leads to thick rhythms. The alder body is home to two Seymour Duncan Distortion humbuckers and thanks to the push/pull volume potentiometer, the pickups can be split to give you sparkling clean tones too. The no-load tone potentiometer can also be completely removed from the sound leaving you with nothing but the pure unadulterated tone of the guitar itself.
Pro Mod So-Cal Style 1: speed neck
The neck is designed for fast playing. It's made of maple and has a satin gloss urethane lacquer on the back that's been hand-rubbed. The compound fretboard radius goes from 12 inches at the headstock to 16 inches at the body and this, along with 22 jumbo frets, ensure optimal comfort no matter whether you're playing blistering solos or complex chords. A Floyd Rose tremolo bridge completes the picture.
