Coated in a colour-shifting Andromeda Satin and bearing a pointed Forest body that was probably forged in Mount Doom, the ESP LTD Deluxe F-1001 has been fully primed for the true devotee. The headstock and back of the three-piece mahogany neck has been colour-matched with the body and combines with a dark Macassar ebony fretboard to complete the full, menacing look.

Saying that this model has been built for metal is probably stating the obvious, since this edition of the Deluxe F-1001 has been given the stripped-back setup of a single active EMG 81TW Black Chrome humbucker and a Floyd Rose SE1000 double locking tremolo bridge mounted with stainless-steel screws. This unshakably solid foundation offers more sonic variation than you'd expect, especially when the push-pull volume pot is toggled to flip between double and single-coil output - piling on the fun.
