We'd recommend this powerful metal guitar just for its looks alone, as the LTD H-351NT STBC features a glorious transparent-red finish, underneath which is the beautiful grain of flamed maple. Additionally, it sports an abalone pattern next to the bindings along its slender neck, elegant headstock and arched body. Lastly, the fretboard brandishes a type number inlay at the 12th fret.
The high-quality sound of the H-351NT STBC
A great guitar sound starts with a proper piece of wood. For the LTD H-351NT STBC (See Thru Black Cherry), LTD used mahogany, a wood type that is known for its full, warm sound that can pierce through the mix excellently. Naturally, pickups are an important factor too, and this guitar is equipped with two active EMG humbuckers that ensure an exceptionally powerful, hum-free sound. The EMG 81 is responsible for the highly balanced sounds and the 85 for the warmer tones.
