As part of their 5150 line, EVH offer an ST-styled model with a body shape that earns it the title, Parabellum. This electric guitar comes with every weapon needed to battle any sonic opponent. The lightweight basswood body has a super-slim bolt-on neck and a beautifully balanced compound-radius fretboard with jumbo frets for superb grip and clean, clear notes even when played at a ridiculous speed.
The 5150 Series Parabellum: Ready for Action
The combined features of the 5150 Series Parabellum make for an insane level of playability. A Top Loaded Floyd Rose FRTO2000 tremolo and matching R2 locking nut provide auxiliary support for the most maniacal of divebombs and a D-Tuna is fitted just behind the bottom-E fine tuner; simply flip the switch for instant drop-D tuning. Medium output Wolfgang humbuckers are mounted for that classic Eddie van Halen foundation tone complete with immense sustain and rounded feedback, all of which is reined in using the provided set of Bourns tone and volume potentiometers.
