Fender Custom Shop 1970 Relic Stratocaster MN Olympic White
General
The Fender Custom Shop Time Machine 1970 Relic Stratocaster in Olympic White differs from other models in this series with its maple fretboard. This light-coloured wood type, in combination with the white body and hand-faded pickup caps and knobs, gives the Strat a fresh look. You will immediately recognise the typical '70s-style Strat with its large headstock and quarter sewn maple 1969 neck with U profile. To give this solid body the appearance and feel of a guitar from the '70s, it has undergone an authentic ageing process from top to bottom. The lightly weathered hardware and bumps on the body and neck give the impression that this American Strat has been played lovingly for decades.
Fender 1970 Relic Stratocaster: back in time
Anyone who thinks of a white Strat and the 1970s, probably thinks of Jimi Hendrix too. This model may be slightly different, but it will still take you straight back to a time when Stratocasters conquered the world. The alder body is loaded with three Fat '60s single-coil pickups that offer a wide range of unadulterated Strat sounds. Expect clear tones, with a solid mid range and defined bass. The maple fretboard adds a touch more bite than versions with a rosewood fretboard. You'll also notice the dynamics in your playing will stand out with this top-quality Custom Shop 1970 Stratocaster.
