FGN Guitars present the J-Standard Odyssey: a widely-deployable electric guitar that offers modern playability and fresh looks. Not only that, the ergonomically-shaped basswood comes armed with three Seymour Duncan pickups. What you're getting is a powerful Pegasus in the bridge position, a Vintage Staggered SSL-1 in the middle and an Alnico II Pro APS-1 at the neck. This trio combines with a 5-way pickup switch and coil-split functionality for an exceptionally broad tonal spectrum ranging from crisp cleans to screaming leads.
The J-Standard Odyssey: Pure
The bolt-on maple neck of the J-Standard Odyssey has an instantly snug and familiar feeling U-profile, and since the 22 frets have been fitted using the Circle Fretting System (C.F.S.), the strings run above the frets at a 90-degree angle for enhanced intonation and articulation. Meanwhile, the compound fretboard radius eases the playing of both rhythm parts and solos, and there's a stable 2-point tremolo and a set of Gotoh-made tuners to finish the build and firm up the tuning stability.
