For those already familiar with the FRM100 Signature guitar by Paul Gilbert, we have something interesting. The Ibanez FRM150 Paul Gilbert Signature Transparent Red features astriking fire engine red colour, but more importantly, it has the same DiMarzio pickups on board! It has an HSH pickup configuration (a humbucker for the neck and bridge, a single coil in the middle). Together with Ibanez, the popular Paul has developed the ultimate guitar for himself and his fans who desire the same unique playing experience as Paul 'Mr Big' Gilbert.
Strikingly clear sound
This guitar produces a sound that can be clearly distinguished when you play in a group, which makes it perfect for solo parts. The body has a double cutaway and is made of mahogany, while the neck is made of a combination of maple and extra thick mahogany. This three-piece neck features a rosewood fretboard with 22 frets and white dot inlays (position markers). The guitar is also fitted with a Tight-Tune bridge with Tight-Tune tailpiece. Delivery includes a rugged gig bag.
