The Ibanez KIKO10P-TRR is the Premium version of the Kiko Loureiro signature guitar. This version looks and sounds authentic but is accessible to a wider audience than the KIKO100-TRR. Nevertheless, this guitar is equipped with special DiMarzio KIKO pickups, a KIKO neck, special inlays at the 12th fret and a deeper cutaway for extra playing comfort at the highest frets. Kiko doesn't just lend his name to any model. Yet, this Ibanez has got it all to satisfy the greatest virtuosos of the world.
KIKO10P: Premium-signature
This signature is endowed with fantastic features. It has a nicely finished body, 24 jumbo frets on a rosewood fretboard with offset position markers and a special KIKO inlay. The tilt-in jack connector makes sure that the guitar cable is always embedded into the body. The guitar has recessed control knobs for optimal playing comfort. With the stable and rugged Edge-Zero II tremolo bridge, making dive bombs becomes easy and thanks to the locking nut, the guitar will retain its tuning.
DiMarzio KIKO pickups
The KIKO10P-TRR is equipped with three pickups: two humbuckers, one at the bridge and one at the neck, and a single coil in the middle. With the coil tap switch on the volume knob, you can play on a single coil of both humbuckers, resulting in seven unique pickup combinations. The pickups have been designed with Kiko's wide musical range in mind. Fusion to metal, everything needs to be picked up with perfect balance. The humbuckers have a medium output and a balanced frequency response. The single coil sounds warmer and more powerful than a vintage-style one, in order to maintain the balance with the humbuckers.
