You're looking at a full-blood metal axe. The SIX70FDBG-NT is one of the Iron Label models by Ibanez. Its body has that well-known S shape and has been decorated with tasteful abalone bindings. Together with the bubinga top and gold-coloured hardware, this solid-body model looks stylish and powerful. The streamlined headstock also has a bubinga finish with an abalone edge. The body of the SIX70FDBG-NT is made of mahogany, a wood type with excellent sound output and that produces a warm, balanced sound. The 3-piece Nitro Wizard neck is made of maple and bubinga wood and allows for fast playing. It is exceptionally slim, very stable and ready to take on your metal violence, show after show. The fretboard is made of ebony in order to allow for a tight low and an ultra-fast response. Everything is neatly restrained by the extremely rugged Gibraltar Standard bridge, that perfectly transfers string vibrations to the body.
DiMarzio pickups
On board of this shredding machine, you can find a trio of DiMarzio pickups. The Tone Zone humbucker is mounted at the bridge, which is a hot pickup that either way provides excellent dynamics so that heavy chords really do sound heavy. The True Velvet single-coil pickup in the middle position provides a sparkly (but not thin!) sound. The reversed polarity prevents humming when you switch to a certain position. At the neck you can find the Air Norton humbucker, providing you with warm sounds with great sustain. This is the perfect partner for The Tone Zone.
