The body of the Pro Series Jackson SL2 Soloist is made of mahogany which has excellent sound characteristics giving you plenty of richness and warmth. It's equipped with two Seymour Duncan Distortion passive humbuckers that deliver an aggressive, punchy sound. These pickups have a high output which makes them a great choice for faster playing styles in heavier genres. It's not for nothing that Seymour Duncan refers to them as the Mayhem set!
